What is a cultural heritage?

The concept of cultural heritage is designated to heritage of cultural type that corresponds a community which is protected and communicated from generation to generation.

There are some local and international institutions that have the mission to identify, classify and take care of those properties that are considered very valuable to a village, a region, a community or all the people. Thanks to this protection these properties help to transmit and keep the past culture of a community alive, specially to someone that can't  witness all this; somewhat, the possibility of visiting them or studying them allows to have a direct experience with them, a direct access.

The tangible heritage is the expression of the cultures through great material artwork. At the same time, the tangible heritage can be classified in movable and inmovable.

It also exists the Intangible cultural heritage.
