The subaquatic cultural heritage
 The
cultural subaquatic heritage understands all those tracks of existence human
that this or that have been under the water, partial or totally and that have a
cultural or historical character.
Recognizing the increasing need to protect
this heritage, the UNESCO elaborated in 2001 the convention about the
protection of the cultural subaquatic heritage.
Subaquatic museum of art.
Located in the waters that make a detour
Cancun, Isla mujeres y Punta Nizuc,  It
is one of the most extensive submarine museums of the planet, this one shaped
by different sculptures which are in a national park protected sailor.
Between the characteristics that it do a
museum as few ones in the world, it is that the sculptures are done based on a
material that will allow that with the passage of time they will turn into
artificial reefs.
